APPIAN PAVERS
DESCRIPTION
A look reminiscent of ancient Rome. This large scale paver has a gently rolling texture reflective of naturally cut flagstone used to pave Rome’s Appian Way. This network of roads built in the third century B.C.E. featured a series of tight-fitting interlocking stones. Roads of pavers like this provided quick transportation of troops and supplies for Rome’s forces. Made strong with the finest granite aggregate. Most pavers are made with limestone aggregate – our Appian Paver uses granite!
